Overall, I think we are all really pleased with our finished piece-it portrays everything we were reaching for as a group, as well as combining aspects from each members 'style' of work. I love how the 'puff' print works on top of the chiffon and creates a subtle depth to the fabric, whilst the contrasting and statement collar brings the excitement into the garment, as we'd envisaged. The variation in medium adds an extra dimension to the piece and I believe that the knit works well when layered between our printed fabrics.

In retrospect, I think it's been a wonderful experience. It was a privilege to be given the opportunity to collaborate with a group of new people and not only did I really enjoy the project, but I feel that I explored innovative ideas and evolved as a textile designer. I also think it's made me more aware of time management, which has always been a weakness of mine. Working around other people pushed me to stay on top of my work and made sure that I was contributing to the best of my ability. I think it will be interesting to see how my next Unit X is, in comparison!
