I've also spent time experimenting with the layout of my weaves and final samples. It's helped me visualise them as a collection by creating small, quick sketches with pens and I think they're all starting to be brought together quite nicely.

I've also used the Tribal Collection by Margo Selby as my biggest inspiration for conceptualising my work within the industry. Not only is there a close link between her designs and mine, I think that my pieces could be accepted well in the 'interior design' bracket, producing beautifully created and striking pieces of fabric, for furnishings. Perhaps even bespoke?

We've also been told that we need to create 2 x A2 presentation boards, to display our project in a concise form, to our peers in groups on the 24th November. At first I was slightly sceptical as to why this was necessary, however since completing it, I've realised how important it is to compact our work and create a visual piece for others outside of the project to understand our thought processes. It's also given me the chance to be more selective with my work and focus on the most important aspects of my journey. I think this is a great concept which will also help me in the future, when it comes to job interviews and internships.

It's been a nerve-wracking yet exciting week for me. As the project draws to a close and the deadline date creeps ever closer, I've tried hard to stay on top of my work and complete every task to the best of my ability. I'm thrilled with how my samples look, now that they have been pressed and mounted, and I'm really happy with how my full collection works as a whole.
