This week I have chosen to continue working on my Live Brief. I have been finding it really hard recently to hone in on a restricted number of colours for my colour palette as there is such a diverse range within my chosen painting. It helped to break them into tonal groups as I could see which colours I liked together and which colours worked well/didn't work next to each other, however I was still unable to be selective.
I moved onto breaking the image up to try new combinations of colours and this was a great success. I discovered what colours worked well together, compared to what you initially see or the colour combinations that Warhol put together. It has allowed me to be certain on which colours I didn't like together and which colours I know I would like included in my warp.
