Mary-Anne Morrison is a textile artist working to explore the concept of rhythm, aiming to create pieces inspired by notions of strength, continuous circular movement and tension. She manipulates paper, fabric and thread, and involves aspects of stitching, weaving, folding, joining, tying or pleating into her work.
I love the lines that can be found within Morrison's work and her choice of colour palette, as well as the simplistic style of her pieces, whilst also initially coming across as quite complex at the same time.
